Just a reminder that 6E has SAHI Screening Thursday 29th October 2015
This week has seen our Year 6 students to tune in and begin their inquiries into our Unit 2 Transdisciplinary theme 'Sharing the Planet'. We began our inquiry by finding out what Sharing the Planet means to Year 6 using videos to spark discussions and enhance their thinking. The students created a Graffiti wall to share their ideas using words and pictures. We have also spent time this week unpicking the central idea; Conserving aspects of our planet impacts both humans and animals. A big congratulations to our Year 6 students who have been chosen this week to be our Learner Profile award winners and 'Stars' of the week. Students are chosen by their class teacher for their dedication to improving their Learner Profile or for shining bright during the week for exceptional work and behaviour!
Year 6 have been working hard in preparation for their ‘International Day’. The classrooms are buzzing as busy pupils work on laptops and I-pads. As a year group, we sincerely hope that you are looking forward to a mini celebration of the children’s efforts and achievements. Things to remember/prepare
